About me and my Dream Come True!

I've wanted to have chickens for the longest time, and in the spring of 2012, I was finally able to buy some! I bought and raised 8 chicks, but i didn't raise them normally; I raised them with lots of love, almost as they were my kids. I spent time with them whenever I had the chance, and after a while, they enjoyed my company. Over the next few years, I always bought more chicks, to add to my flock, but at the same time selling some birds from the previous years to keep my flock small. I always loved my birds, and still do.

I've been in FFA for 3 years now, and preparing for my fourth year. I've been the VP for 2 years now, and I absolutely love FFA and my duties in the FFA. Starting last year, I got involved with showing at livestock fairs with FFA, and I LOVED it! I managed to sell 2 birds at the fair, and from that point, I really worked towards my dream of creating a small business for poultry. This past spring of 2016, I bought more than 30 chicks, a handful of ducklings, a couple turkeys, and quail. I've sadly had to deal with the loss of my quail to skunks, the death of all my turkeys except 1, and numerous chicks, as I happened to buy the sicker ones. And watching them die or finding them dead, really hurts me, as I grow attached to them quickly. So I bring to you Nick's Chicks, where I will supply babies that will be guaranteed healthy, full grown birds, and farm fresh eggs!
